The Football
Charlie would like to own the special Sherrin football signed by Nathan Buckley that he sees in a shop window but he doesn’t have the money to buy it. His mother promises to buy him a football for his birthday but Charlie thinks that is too long to wait. His friend Liam suggests they pool their money and share the ball but that is still not enough. They decide to do odd jobs to earn the money they need but at Mr Taylor’s house they face a dilemma, Simon’s rabbit has died. Should the boys stick to what they want or buy a new rabbit for Simon?
