Children will love the new Aussie Tales books. They are adventures set in Australia an area now familiar to many children through TV soaps.
In the teaching guide you will find:
- Story facts: a summary of key facts to support each book.
- Synopsis: a synopsis is provided for each book that gives teachers a quick summary of the story.
- Other activities: a number of suggestions for activities related to the themes of each title are provided. These include topics for personal development, general discussion and oral activities to promote understanding of how language works, research topics and ideas for creative expression.
- Black Line Masters: There are 3 BLM’s for use with all of the Aussie tales books. These BLM’s aid comprehension and encourage analytical and critical thinking as well as focussing on vocabulary, syntactic and comprehension skills.
